Ivermectin. 1/2 cc for a 50 lb hound. A tenth less for small frame hound and or a tenth more for a larger hound. U can skip the months of December thru March if the cold weather permits (since heart worms come from mosquitoes) I’ve skipped the cold months all together several years and never had a hound die from heart worms. Been treating dogs for well over 20+ years. Hope this advice helps.
