Need some advice! Had a dog get bit by a snake last Saturday, yes as cold as it was, it was a snake! I was surprised myself!! Been giving him Dex and pennicillin and he looks good and all swelling is gone. You can still see the 2 big holes above his neck where everything drained out, about the size of a pencil that are still opened up. My question is, how long before you would run him again? Would you run him Saturday or give him some time? Just wondering and thanks for any advice!!! Travis

I generally hold them up for 2 weeks but thats just me. Glad to hear it opened and drained.
