First I want to thank the hunters for their sportsmanship and friendly attitudes. It is always good to have kids playing and having a good time and just enjoying the day. We had some new faces show up coming as far as Florida. Thanks to all of you for supporting C&M. I want to thank Bill Holden for doing a fine job as always and for all the judges that gave their time and they were Duck Britt, Wesley Holloman, Brandon Strickland, Pastor Jeff Blanton, David Ward, Travis Brooks, Eric Shipman, Brian Franco and Tyson Elliott. We had a full class in the bench show. A big thank you to Johnny Shaw (Bench Show Judge) and Brandon Strickland (Ring Master).
My wife Hilda became ill the night before the hunt. She does a lot for these hunts and we were all very worried about her. She is doing much better. Thank you Lisa McShane for helping in the kitchen, computer, taking the pictures and posting them. Terrie Holden our computer girl helped with entries and did a great job on the score sheets. Terry Ward for helping in any way she could. I appreciate all these ladies for stepping up and getting things done. Other helpers assisting before and after the hunt: Wesley Holloman and Brandon Strickland.
Thanks to the Feed Companies that support us, they were Pride (Mike Carr) and Valu Pac (Ronnie Mace). I don’t want to forget Jacquelyn & Holly Sellers for selling 50/50 tickets. You did a great job for a great cause.
We had 112 fine Derby hounds and 34 puppies to compete.
