It's a sad time watching Brunswick Naval Air Station disappear. I went there a couple weeks ago and its like a ghost town. All the enlisted barracks have been torn down along with all the old hangars. I find it quite sad and depressing. Us old sailors can be quite nostalgic. |

Hey Old shipmates, Am looking for any information on Jean-Paul "JOHN" Cote, ADR3. He was in 21 from 63 to 66. He and I went to the base radio school in the winter of '64 to get on Crew. Two nose-pickers banging the key.. In Apr. of '64 he went on CAC 4, I got CAC 5.. We drank many of bottles of Wild Irish Rose together, along with Mel Wilt, Ron Novay, Tom Bergstrom, Jim Carlson, John Tidwell just to name a few !! Anyway, if anyone has any info on John, please let me know.. Last I heard from him he was in Los Angeles, around 1967 !! Thanx !! Bill |

This is a great website, I was also TDY to Nassau to help set up Windsor field for our squadron before they arrived and also was there when we lost the aircraft. I recognize a lot of the guys in some of the pictures. |

Always remember last deployment to Iceland from Brunswick in late 1965. Will never forget losing an engine on takeoff from Bodo and having to have one flown from base in Iceland. Would like to here from squadron members and CAC-2 crew of this deployment |
