Sterling was "helping" me change my bed linens. As I was putting the sheet on one side of the bed , he would go to the opposite. We did this for the fitted and flat sheets, and the bedspread. He was Mother's Helper!

Please add our Louie to your Rainbow Bridge. He crossed over last night, 10/28/11. We lived through 18 months of cancer with him and they were some of the best of the 10 years he was our boy. We miss him terribly.

I am so sorry to hear of Katie's passing. It is so hard to loose a fur child. My precious Lizzie left us 5 years ago and I still miss her. Know that your family out here mourns with you. Heaven is a happier place.

Thank you for the beautiful post with Lucy's pictures. We miss her so much. Even with our "guests" the house seems quiet and empty. She had quite the presence even though she was ill. She still rulled the roost and was the queen of all she surveyed. Love to you all, Beth

Pippi loves to chew computer and phone cords (as well as the baseboards and EVERYTHING else)
So...today I came into my office for a few short minutes (10 at the most!)I shut the door.
When I came out, cardboard strewn EVERYWHERE !!!
It took me a minute to figure it out, but this is what they (possibly Swagger was involved, but I am sure Pippi initiated the action) did...Tore open a soda carton and rolled the cans all around the kitchen and dining room, their little teeth punctured one can several times and THEY had a Red Cream Soda Party!!
If it had been anyone else, I'd be feeling like this : ....but I got to scrub the refrigerator, the floor, and then give both them a bath to keep their little fur from matting
I am TIRED !!

I cried when I saw all of the beautiful scotties pictured here. I bought my first scottie the week I took my national nursing boards and that was over 25 years ago. The pain is sometimes more than I can bear but I keep going back to the breed plus I have met such wonderful people that are owned by Scotties.
