Just being curious but if you had to choose between a walker hound or a half walker/half beagle, which would you prefer? I’m talking long legged half and half’s like 18 inches. We have a lot of water where we hunt. On our bad smelling days the walkers sometimes have trouble holding a track, others times they can smoke him in the woods but act like they can’t smell him in a cutover or field. Love my walkers but hear good thinks about half and half’s and just curious what do y’all prefer in the deer world.
