The Ridgeway VFD hunt is scheduled for February 26th and 27th, 2021 at the Tar River fox pen. It will be a 2 class speed and drive with a bench show. Bench Show will be on Friday night at 8 pm and we will cast at daylight on Saturday morning. To try and make it less hectic this year I would like for everyone interested in coming to text me their name and number of dogs they would like to bring anytime between now and January 25th. On the last Saturday in January I will call everyone back in the order I received your number and give out the numbers. Hopefully this method will make it easier on everyone. You can also call and leave a voicemail. We will give out 15 places in each class in the field and a combination trophy. Entry fee will be $36 per dog. Not sure if we will have the guns this year because the supply is tight but my supplier is trying to get some. The number to text or call is 252-213-2661
Unfortunately due to the high number of people wanting numbers to this year’s hunt I was not able to give everyone some. Wish I could have but the limit is 400 and I don’t want to give someone a number and they get to the pen and can’t enter their dogs. If any numbers are turned in I will continue down the list. I tried to respond to everyone that texted me either through a phone call or text but I’m sure I miss some. Thanks
