Searching for Grandmaster Nam Kun Yu

I first trained with Grandmaster Nam Ku Yun in 1968 in Chun Chon while stationed at 4th Missile Command. I was there for 18 months. I regret never having taken any photos of us together and very much regret that I never tried to contact him after leaving Korea in 1969. I did however get to see him again upon my return to korea in 1974. At that time I was with the 2ND Infatry Division and a part of the Division Tae Kwon Do Team. I met Grandmaster again at Kukiwon Asian Games when I represented the 2ND Infantry Division Team. He has been the only Master that I have ever claimed as my teacher. I really believe i have disappointed him in many ways. I have told many stories about my training with him to many people. I have always respected him will continue to respect. I spoke with him last October 23, 2009 to be exact and received a Christmas card from he and his wife. I have tried calling most recently but i don't know if the number is the same or changed. I know of his health but am unable to make a trip to see him. I f you talk to him tell him that he is always in my prayers. He is the reason I becam such a good person and a competitor. Learning forms from is what boast about to all that listen. when they think form are of no use then I set them straight and show them why. Learning forms from Grandmaster Yun taught me great defense and at the same time the defense served as my great offense. I am now 62 years young but i keep going. I did lay off for about 22 years and was inspired to start back by my young Great Niece. I am thrill that some one else had the pleasure of being in Grandmaster Yun's presence and learning from one GREAT MAN>>>
