I have an idea to co-incide with the 2012 Olympics - that the SA puts out a recording/video of the march "Under two flags" ('Neath two flags'?). Usual routes - media/youTube etc. The march - an old one! - has a strong UK theme, with hints of tunes from England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland (I think!). Distribute the manuscripts cheaply / a % of the income generated to go to BOA. Good publicity, shows SA is very much "with it".

Well done, you all worked hard and gave great performances in Whitchurch and Andover. Many people have been saying how wonderful it was to see the Salvation Army marching the streets in the towns. You have not only made long term Salvationists proud, you have excited new adherents and soldiers who have not been part of the Army traditions we sometimes take for granted.

Just returned from an enjoyable evening listening to the band on good form!
An interesting and varied programme with a capacity crowd which raised £1500 for Help the Heroes. Well done everyone!
It was also good to meet up with some old friends again
