Free Bike Riding Clinic in Rapid City

Children's Care Development and Rehabilitation Center will offer a free bike riding clinic on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 4PM. They are offering this in conjunction with Strider Sports which will provide Strider bikes during the clinic for kids who are walking and weigh 50 lbs or less. It is advertised for children ages 1-5 years. The Strider is a small, lightweight bike with no pedals that allows kids to learn to get on a bike, figure out how to balance, put their feet down to stop, etc. It is believed that there are many benefits to using this as a learning tool versus a bike with training wheels.

The designer will be there and is interested in hearing from older kids (and their parents) who want to learn how to ride a bike as he is working on designing larger Strider bikes. Everyone is welcome!

Children's Care is located at 7110 Jordan Drive, next to the waterslides on Highway 16 and Catron Blvd., behind the Black Hills Orthopedic Center.
