Yeah, right. I just felt the need to open a new thread dedicated to the current support-Band of the Two Gallants.
I have no idea why I managed to ignore them for so long. After I saw them on thursday, I bought their CD "Wild Mountain Nation" right away and can't stop listening to it.
They now honestly remind of the cold war kids. And a bit of the Flaming Lips, too. Because they are just as crazy and for sure not of this world.
Sometimes they sound a lot like the Shins, sometimes they get very close to sounding like a 70s-Rockband.
Does anyone know "Band of Horses"? If you like their music, you should give Blitzen Trapper a chance.
Best song of the album: "Futures & Folly”.
There is something special about their music.
When listening to it, you feel the need to do something inappropriate, forbidden, adventurous.

Saw them live couple a days ago. Pretty energetic and fun stuff. Cowbell.
Yea definatly, i discovered The2gs because og blitzen trapper, the opened for The Hold Steady 3 nites in a row, so aftr hagin with them in stuff we stared going to their shows, The 2 Gs headlined one of them, imedaitly after i bought T2Gs, and What the toll Tells

There was a song I really like that I can vaguely remember of there's. It's was something about there home town or something i think. Any ideas what it was?
I previewed there albums on amazon but i didn't regognize it, if it is on one of them.
