Thought I would inform you that Mrs. Kathleen Richey passed away recently (Blacklion). She and her late husband Canon Robin Richey (Church of Ireland) would have been very well known to the WF college in Blacklion. The rectory, where they lived, bordered immediately on the grounds of St. Augustines.
She was an amazing woman who did so much for the Blacklion community. Many decades ago Kathleen organised swimming and live saving lessons for the children of the area, at Lough McNean, and over the decades thousands of children benefitted from her efforts.
She has been given a front page spread in the Impartial Reporter newspaper, such was the admiration and affection for this lady.
