I heard there was legislation being considered in VA that would establish an out-of-state hunting license with a nominal fee for non-residents that run dogs in VA fenced enclosures (pleasure running not associated with a field trial). Is anyone aware of such a bill, and if so could you provide me with a bill number or site reference? Thanks!

Preston...The bill is "HB1609"...requires a non-resident to purchase for $12.00 a license to hunt in a foxhound training preserve. It parallels an existing bill requiring the same for a shooting preserve! Hope this helps!
