Whats the best meds for ear mites?I have tried vets meds and over the counter meds but they are short lived.I am thinking about trying ivormec.Is this good to use and how much do you apply?Thanks for any info!

I usually use around 1/2 CC of ivormec and mix it with baby oil, to keep it inside the ear canal better. Check them in about two weeks and reapply if needed. Hope this helps.

ivomec works very well.

olive oil, wesson oil, baby oil, whatever w/ the ivomec; also follow with regular cleaning with the Blue Power ear wash; get rid of any wheat stray bedding and treat all your dogs; ear mites are VERY contagious; if you have yard cats that may be a source too. search the archives for the Blue Power, I've posted it several times.
