I had a collar come unhooked last week. It takes a while, but you will find your collar. When you know you are close, disconnect your antenna. That will put you on top of your collar if you know your tracking box.

Buddy of mine had the same problem, we didn't find out until turkey season the dog fell into a deep well.

Had the same problem last weekend. Dog had jumped in a old pumping station and could not get out. We walked in on Sunday and lifted him out. Signal would get weak when the dog was standing flat and stronger if he stood against the wall. I used the attenuator and squech to locate him. "Would have been much easier if he would have barked".

I have found that using the needle rather than the sound can get me within 10 ft. or less.

And turn the atenuation way way down.
