Good post and I couldn't agree with you more in your last paragraph. It's sad when people will vote strictly because of color or party. Most black people will vote for Obama strictly because he's black, no matter what agenda he stands for it's like he is a Messiah to the race. And I have to wonder do all the people doing this really believe he gives a crap about them. (I don't think so). There are many people in my family that vote for the party I am not one of them I vote strictly for the person and my belief in where they stand. This has caused a lot of friction but it's my right. I truly believe you have a majority of white liberals that will vote for Obama because of political correctness they are so rapped up in correctnes and not hurting anyones feelings that they have been hoodwinked for shame of ridicule.
Call me anything you would like I don't care I have thick skin and broad shoulders I can take it. In my humble opinion to H@!! with political correctness this country is going down because of it.

Well I'm White and I can see where the last paragraph could be seen as a racial slur. It is obvious that most of us agree that Obama has issues. I can say that skin color is not a concern for me one bit. I was in favor of Condelessa Rice being picked for the Republican V.P. job. Had she been, we wouldn't be concerned with polls at this time. The first part of the e mail makes the most valid point. A man that has come from out of no where, becomes a senator for 143 days and then runs for President and has so many questionable associates, should raise question in everybodies mind. Look how long McCain has been in politics. You don't see these conflicts in his character. The bottom line, Obama is not qualified and he is not running on his own merit and reputation. Someone or something else with a lot of power is behind him. Everyone had better listen to thier heart and do what you know is right. I don't think McCain is the best man in the country for the job by no means, but he is the least of two evils. The eyes of America is on the govt. right now. McCain will be forced to walk a tight line and get things going again.

Seems like alot of people on here listen way to much to Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. Half the garbage they spill is just that GARBAGE. I will say this the Republican party stands behind GOD and Family Values and behind our backs they are the devil himself. We need a 3rd party in this country more than ever!! The two party system that is controlling our country is destroying everything out forefathers built. GREED IS THE WORD THAT BOTH PARTIES PREACH.

Well, what really bothers me, is that the Republicans try to come across like they are perfect...we are Christian people, we love God, we are not against anyone because of their race, their religion etc....We try to check out information that we hear or read, we listen to all the news shows, and one station is very biased....
Our Lord, created all people....this world has people of different color, different beliefs etc...Of course this great country has to defend itself if another one wars against us....

I wrote my local paper a barn burning letter pointing out that they have covered none of these items. That they never mentioned the threats against the PA and OH TV stations because of the NRA ad, that they never mentioned the MO sheriff and prosecuter who were going to arrest and try people that wrote the very same stuff you see here where we are trying to discuss ideas, that they never mentioned the threats to the radio stations in Chicago that were flooded with calls and emails trying to shut down their communications system because they had a guest that was critical of BO. That they never wrote one single word about BO's trip to Kenya to get Odinga elected president.

A fellow named Kurtz, who wrote a book about him? Ever heard of him? I bet not if you only look at local news.

So agree with Hannity and Limbaugh or disagree with them, they are doing us a service by bringing this stuff up so we can go to our google and track down the details.

By the way, even after I wrote that letter, there has not been one single word in the local paper other than one little story as short as this paragraph. Its headline was something like "Race enters campaign over ACORN".

When the FBI and the state attorneys in 13 states are investigating fraudulent registrations, what has that got to do with race?

Well what it has to do with it is...our local paper's editor is black with that big chip on his shoulder that gets knocked off just as regular as can be because everything he sees is race related.

I have seen several comments on this board on racism because of some descriptions used. It is strange to me when we all read these details of a scene we (all races) must see the same things in our mind of a culture or no one would be offended or struggling with what was said. I think that was the whole point to show who Obama was associated with, a culture not a specific race.

Our soldiers are over there fighting the Terrorist, pushing them into Pakistan and then turning around and waiting for them to come back out of Pakistan. Does that sound familar? I work for the Largest Bank in the Nation and they are everyday sending more of our jobs overseas and also hiring from India because they are getting cheap educations and stealing our jobs because we cant compete. American educations are so expensive its like taking out a mortgage to get in a decent school. Do you know who owns most of the Banks that Americans Bank with now? The Federal Government - One Word Socialism. The Bank I work for Banks every other American in the US and now the US Government owns a big chunck of that Bank. Either way you slice it Dem or Rep these two parties are working on us from both sides and arent doing any of us any good. My point for this whole post is we need to quit this Dem and Rep back biting and look at what is happening to our country. Its time that we held all the Politicians accountable for what they are doing. We have sat back and watched them year after year collect their paychecks with no accountability and have paid for their campaigns and for their excesses. I know that we will not always agree on Politics but I think we can all agree the We love our Country and right now It is being hijacked by two Political Parties.

I think that no matter who gets elected to what office. They should have a set period of time to do what they said they were going to do. If they don't do the job boot them out and get another one.

How many people here would actually have kept their job if they said they could do whatever and never do it. You can lie to get a job but, you must be able to perform to keep it.

Jeff, you're the only one that seems to see through all the mumble jumble. The two party system is only to keep us occupied fighting among each other, while the ruling two percent fulfill their agenda. We are stuck on issues of race, gay marriage, and abortion, while the country is being sold out. It doesn't matter what party the president comes from. If he strays too far from the agenda of "the unseen hand", he will be taken out through political, or physical assasination.

Folks, just read 2 Chron the entire 7'th chapter. This will tell you exactly what is going on in our country. God protected His people while they were serving Him and making Him #1 in their lives but when they got away from Him and began serving other gods, he told them He would bring devistation on their land and He did. We have worshipped the almighty dollar for many years, and have turned our back on the God that we built this country on and until we do what 2 Chron 7:14 says it will get worse. God is a totally just God, and if he punished His people back then He will do the same thing now. Until we turn back to Him, humble ourselves, and ask for forgiveness and put Him back #1 in our lives, Obama, Bush, or no other president can help. The problem is with us!!!! All these proposals the govt is making are just dipping the water out of a boat that is sinking because it has a hole in the bottom of it. Until we fix the hole in the boat, our problems will continue to worsen. If you don't want to believe this and if you want to argue with that then argue with God, not me, I'm not the one who said it, God did.
