I run yotes and reds on the outside and in the pens. I have running hounds my whole life. Lenny is 100% right. It is not the game but hounds and the hunters that do not what to do the work that they need to do. Hunters do not go out and watch what they are doing because he is off some high powered studdog, and that is going to make that hound so much better. The bad thing about that is those top studdogs produce sorry ones, too. It is the hunters job to cull his own dog. I do not have the perfect hounds but I do cull my hounds and I do have hounds that run their game and run it hard.
