For all that posted this is exacty what I wanted, I start messing with my hounds at 5 months have had a gyp that I took out during deer season at 4 months old, Took a track from the road never been casted just brought her to get her used to riding, letout to run around she smelled the tracks on the road hit it and headed in the woods after the deer, I stopped her as she was not with any hounds and going into a 14 sqaure mile block ,had to load her to keep her from going after the deer, I brought her back about 3 weeks later ran her with some beagle another hunter killed the deer she was first out but turned around went back in the big sop hollow block in Huffman forest trailed a deer for a good while then jumped it, there was one hunter that decieded to stick with her while the rest of us worked the big pack, he killed the biggest 4 pointer I have ever seen weighed 175 dressed out, 18 inch spread, she brought him out by herself, Can get 10 other witnesses to verify, also have had 3 eight month olds thatI stll have have caught ther first yote and two months later the three had been getting out coming home 2 or 3 days later every time they came back with in 2 days out and gone again, at ten months old they took down a deer by thereself, ,,,, Have 6 witnesses to that and I dont even know them,,,,young hounds when properly trained can really amaze you on what there abilities are, Breaking any hound on yotes is nothing more than taking a chance on ruining them, the 3 above were broke on fox and hit the yote on there own, there is a pen owner on here that knows exactly what I am refering to MARC
