Found a hound at my house this evening. No tags, collar or chip. Very sweet. Has a cluster of tiny grey bugs, ticks?, and possibly eggs around top of ear. Gave a bath and sprayed apple cider vinegar with water on them hoping they will fall off. Tried to scrape them off but only a couple came off. Wanted to know if there was anything else to do before having to spend a fortune at the vet. Gonna get a flea and tick collar for it tomorrow and continue to spray once a day with mixture of vinegar and water. Thanks in advance!

Give it a bath in Dawn and after it dries off put 7dust all over it that will kill the ticks

I've read that isnt safe to use on dogs directly? I gave her a bath in dawn yesterday.
