The 2020 Chase Futurity is for hounds whelped on or after January 1 thru December 31, 2019. All hunters who plan to attend and haven’t already done so should submit sire and dam nominations to The Chase by next Wednesday, July 1 for this field trial. You can phone your entries into Sharon Hurst at The Chase at 859-254-4262, or email them to chasepubl@mw.twcbc.com no later than September 1 for consideration. * This year The Chase has waived the $5.00 pre-entry fee, and payment for sire and dam nominations will not be due until entries are taken the weekend before the hunt.
The Chase Futurity is on the brink of its 100th Anniversary, achieving this milestone in a year that is a departure from the normal, but then again this is no ordinary field trial. The only three day Derby in the nation it is one of the most desirable hunts in which to run your best young hounds and if you are fortunate enough to win, the one that gets your name and that of your hound remembered. There will be a special bonus payment to the top ten HGA winners this year, along with some other surprises commemorating this exceptional field trial.
