There will be a county commissioners meeting Monday February 17 at 5:30. I urge anyone who enjoys deer hunting with dogs to attend and wear orange hats. We need to flood the courthouse with supporters and show them we are the majority. The current chairman of the board has stated they are in charge of government in Halifax County. We need for them to realize that not only are we hunters but that we are voters. They need to know we spend many dollars in this county hunting and we can take those dollars elsewhere. The meeting is in the old historic courthouse on main street in Halifax.
