Wes Young, Troy, SC, long time fox hunter, died December 24. Wes was an old school hunter who liked to turn his hounds out at dusk and catch them up at dawn. He wanted his hounds to run the front end of the chase and didn't care if they "had to jump out of an airplane to get there". Services are being handled by Blyth Funeral Home in Greenwood, SC.

Mr. Wes Young always had some really fast hounds. He would always place everywhere He went. Me and my daddy bought a couple dogs from Wes. And the Dogs we bought from Him we placed them in hunts a good little bit. I always use to cut fool with Mr. Wes anytime I saw Him at a Hunt. And He would talk trash back to me to. He was a really good man and He was a Legend in Field Trailing.
