Why are all these 1 day speed and drives going to the 5 min or the 10 min crossing rule. Why take scores away from dogs. Everyone trying to make 1 day speed and drives like 3 day HGA hunts. Most pplgo to one day s&d to judge dogs to see if they are worth putting in later hunts but I think you can't judge a dog of his scores and crossing don't count. All these educated ppl who don't know anything trying to screw up things I guess
People ought to know what they're feeding before they go to a hunt, if you need a judge to tell you if your dogs good enough to go to another hunt, it's probably time for a new hobby, jmo!
"BB"...read the National or Masters Rules, & learn the rules FIRST, before blasting everyone about how they score hunts! Oh, I forgot...everybody gets a trophy now!:grinning:
And if you need a judge or the scores a dog posts to tell what you got, then you need to really look changing program as to how YOU judge YOUR OWN dogs!
Field trialing historically was BUILT on the premise of "3 DAY HGA HUNTS", & is still the standard today by which "CHAMPION" hounds are determined!
