You cull hounds as you see fit . Everyones pack is different. If a dog runs threw the woods barking out of place or babbling then that's a problem. If your dog takes off on a track the wrong way ,and does not correct himself that's a problem. Best thing I can tell you. figure out what you want out of a pack of deer hounds and start pulling the ones that don't fit your description. More time you spend in the woods running your dogs more you will see and learn about each dog. I always just walk pups man as they get older they start hunting and then next thing you know they running just got to put them in the Bush's bro hopefully the rest is bred into them. The more time they spend out the pen when there young better off u will be is my opinion
