Looking for some advice on methods you all use to keep ticks off your hounds. I have always used cattle tags but I am having a problem keeping them from being chewed off by kennel mates. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

John when I put my tags on I use the button included and fold the tag over the collar and poke a hole with a nail on the end without a hole and push the button through it. I have used zip ties but the buttons hold better and done pull through. Never had 1 chewed off.

I fold my tags over and use the actual tool to attach tag to itself, slide onto collar and spray with Off insect repellant for 1-2 days and dogs will not chew on those

Cut the tag the width of the collar and use a rivet to put under the collar. Not sure the kind and strength of your tags but this works good for us. Sometimes I can get 3 collars out of one tag.
