The USO is just a few weeks away. Everything is coming together nicely for me as the Secretary; and our President Matt Segars has everything ready on his end too.

Richard Evans has the pen in excellent condition and this should be four days that test the endurance of all hounds entered. This location should help the judges pick the toughest field trial hound in America, which was the original reason for the beginning of the USO in 1946 by its founders.

The 34 judges listed below will have the Low Country Fox Run covered which should make for excellent coverage of the hounds and a nice score board every day. It also ensures that hounds will have to remain diligent all four days to remain eligible for the awards on Friday and earn their USO Finish Ribbon.

The extended forecast on AccuWeather shows a beautiful week in store for the Manning area the week of the USO and you can bet I am keeping my fingers crossed that it remains that way moving forward.
