There were officially 422 hounds entered when all was said and done. The weather was perfect with no wind, plenty of dew and nice, cool temperatures. There was great running off the bat at the Dead End Rd. area and tremendous hound work around the East Dead End and the Main Drag later. There were 50 hounds scratched today. The top hunting hound had 65 points. There was 1 trailing hound with 20. The top speed and drive hound had 115 and it took 95 to get in the top ten. The top overall hound had 20-0-115. There was plenty of coyotes and gray fox seen today and the weather looks promising tomorrow.
