Re: Last Three Up Dates On HB..........NC GUYS READ PLEASE

I've emailed my senator, I was also informed that the Legislators from the Charlotte and Raleigh areas have exempted themselves from Sunday hunting, while they're the biggest supporters. If you CARE you need to contact your Senator.

Re: Last Three Up Dates On HB..........NC GUYS READ PLEASE

I contacted my senators as well for the county I live in and the ones I hunt in. I shared this with the sporting dog assoc. as well, but be careful and insure you know what you are talking about when you talk with them. I think this is and underhanded attempt by commercial hunters to get Sunday approved so they can make more money. This bill is not about heritage! If it were about heritage, most would be in church on Sunday. Anyway, what has happened behind the scenes is the NCWRC has turned over deer farming to the department of agriculture so it is not in the fight and it is a conflict of interest. Therefore commercial hunting can be controlled because it is an industry. They want Sundays so they can make money 7 days a week. This bill don't have anything to do with John Doe being able to hunt an extra day, it is all about money hungry hunters and this industry will take its toll on organized hunting clubs (dog and still hunting) because they are going to raise the lease on your land so you can't afford it. So yes, please call your Senator and tell them to OPPOSE Sunday hunting because it will kill your heritage!
