Make sure she is healthy. Worm free and feed her very good ,some good dog food. Do not run her after you breed her. She may run a little low with a big litter but start feeding pups as soon as they can eat. Pull female out for a day once they start eating good then put her back. This will give her a break and allow her to rebuild. Probably not best answer but that's what I do.
