In the event that anyone has not heard yet, the Board of Directors of the Dismal Swamp Fox Hunters Association (DSFHA) met in January 2015, and at that time unanimously voted to terminate the association. This was due to a number of reasons, to include the inability to recruit new board members over the last few years who could take over and augment those who have been involved with the hunt for many years, some 20 plus years. The DSFHA would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported and taken time to attend our hunt, which as many of you know was held over the Memorial Day weekend. We hope that by giving this notice, individuals will be able to plan their vacation/travel plans knowing the hunt will not take place on that holiday weekend.
