Breaking News: NC General Assembly convenes Wednesday, 1/28/15. Bills will be filed starting this week. We will keep our members informed about what bills are being filed that will affect hunting and hunting with dogs in NC. Be sure we have your 2015 membership and your current email address.
Thank you, Craven County dog hunters! On Tuesday, 1/20/15, we communicated to the Craven County Commissioners that we do NOT want the County’s Noise Ordinance made more restrictive. To date, no action has been taken or scheduled by the Commission. Thanks to all the dog hunters who attended, including the Caton Hunt Club contingent! Thank you! Please join and send us your email addresses so we can keep you up to date on developments in Craven County.
Insurance Project. We need your Club’s number of paid members. We are getting a great response for our Insurance Project. We are gathering membership information in order to offer you a FREE accidental death benefit. We need to deliver this info to the Insurance Agent ASAP. We will notify you as soon as we have completed the info gathering stage. NC Sporting Dog dues-paying members, including individual members and members through clubs, will be entitled to these insurance benefits. Be sure your Club or Association leadership sends to Henri McClees the number of current paid members you have in your Club or Association for the current membership year.

Deadline to comment on NC WRC Proposed Rules. Read and print the proposed rules changes as set forth in the 2015 Booklet. You may comment on the proposed rules online. Please read proposed game land rule G2 and consider commenting about the problems of restricting dog hunting on public game lands!
