The 2014 "Holly Jolly" Field Trial is now history and am I ever more glad!!! It was miserable weather even though the weatherman had ensured everyone that the rain (sleet) was going to stay south of the pen.....BOY was he WRONG!!! (I wish I had a job I could make WRONG decisions and still get paid big bucks!!!) Oh well, you have to take the bad days along with the good ones I guess! The running and scoring started off with a bang and then as the weather declined, so did the running and the scoring. During the last 30 minutes of the hunt everything picked back up again for some reason with many hounds getting some good scores! It took 180 pts. to win S&D in the Derby and 290 pts. in the All Age.
