The Southland Open is now history, and what a super hunt it was. We would like to thank all who came and supported us. It has been a while since we have had a hunt so we may have been a little rusty, but the hounds sure weren’t.
Judges, hunters, and hounds were all first class and a dominate hound won. Congratulations to B & C on the win with their multiple CH. B & C Piper. Piper not only won but dominated the hunt by winning the speed and drive on the first and third day.
We want to congratulate Christian Mountain Kennels on the bench show win with CH. CMK’S Blue Moon.
We had what I believe is probably one of the top MOH in the country in Mr. Clyde Sutton and a up and coming super star in our assistant MOH Brandon McKeithan.
Once again thanks to all who came and to the absolute best group of judges you could have.

Well I guess not but anyways Congrats to Chad Perkins (Rockspring Kennels)for having the high dog second day its a shame she got sick and couldn't go the last day because it would have made for and exciting finish, congrats to all that placed sounded like a barn burner im going to try and make it next year.
