About to get a garmin astro 220 box, it will only track up to about 600-800 yards, what may be the problem? Could there be anything to fix it? give me info 252-907-1517

Antenna too short

If the collars havent always been used with that box. Make sure astro and collars are running on the same software.

I dealt with that problem from the time I bought my 220. Distance never got better, I bought everything garmin had to offer and sent it back several times. If you're going to get gps get a 320 or Alpha both work better but not as good as advertised as far distance goes. Average 2-4 miles on mine
