Normally I wait til a deer hounds puppy is 6-8 months old before starting hem with my hounds but I have heard that it's best to start puppies on rabbits first at about 4/5 months old so that they can learn to use their nose cuz rabbits are harder to run? Then when they are lose like 8 months or so they run them on deer. Has anyone else done this? What age is to early to start them on rabbits?
