    tt10 problems

In the past two months I've had 10 tt10 collars loose GPS tracking the rubber strap that holds the small wire is ripping out of the base like the rubber is dry rotten it cracks and breaks out seems these collars can't hold up I have 17 collars and none make it a year before they break I've had collars for almost two years and have sent every collar I've ever bought back they have always been replaced under warranty so the company stand behind there product but my question is is there others having this problem? Anything I can do to or not do?

    Re: tt10 problems

I have 5 collars and most every time after I run my dogs I clean them with disinfectant wipes before i charge them up. I don't know if this helps the rubber on it or not but I personally have not had that problem with mine

    Re: tt10 problems

I had the same problem with some DC50s. I had them in my storage box on my dogbox and they were fine when I put them in and two weeks later every one of them had dry rotted and cracked all to pieces. They were all less than 6 months old. I called Garmin and they replaced them all for free.

    Re: tt10 problems

Mine are fairly new so I have not had that problem however I do have just one collar that will be fully charged and the light will remain red like its still charging. Once I cut the collar on look at the info it says its fully charged and it tracks fine. Do you know how to fix that problem

    Re: tt10 problems

Greg, take a wire bursh and clean where the charger hooks up, that will usually get them to go green, none of mine go green because I never clean the contacts but they are fully charged, but if you clean the contacts should make em turn green.....

    Re: tt10 problems

Ill try that when I get home
