I've got 2 female beagles that are 9 months old that will cough a little only when they get excited or tired seems like (ex. feeding time, playing, running) ...i've tried some anitbiotics (a-mox) and even la-200 treatment for kennel cough when it was a little more of a cough. They seem to have plenty of energy and not down, their stool looks great as well and they eat just fine. Could this be Allergies?? any help would be greatful

I had a young coon dog doing same thing couple years ago.thought it was allergies.took her to vet and she had heart worms.vet said it would show up after 6 months she was about a year at the time.

I treat all my dogs for heartworms and never had any problems with HW on any of my dogs in the past? If they have HW is it a visit to the vet only solution to treat this??

Took young dogs to the vet they did some test on them, turns out combination of them still recovering from kennel cough which they caught about 2 months ago, also some respirtory issues with there cedar kennel bedding vet says switch to pine shavings. Vet has them on 375mg of Clavamox for ten days
