SUPPORT VIRGINIA FOX PRESERVES & COMMENT TO DGIF

With regard to the passage of SB42 by the General Assembly, part of the legislation directed VDGIF to develop a process for the tracking of and releasing the foxes into the Preserves in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

A process was developed whereby a " numbered permit" would be issued for each fox allocated to each Preserve.

HSUS & ASPCA, oppose this process, and desire a "physical tag" to be attached to each fox. A ridiculous request, further proving they really DO NOT CARE about the FOX, nor the added stress of a physical tag, and additional handling required to attach a tag.

The Board of Directors of VDGIF have unanimously passed this resolution, which must be advertised by DGIF on its website for a 30 day comment period.

And final approval occurs after this 30 day period, and thus becoming part of the regulations, & law which governs the Fox Hound Training Preserves in Virginia!
