    Re: Corrid

Mark,,,,,,,Albon will just kill the virus it will not prevent it from happening.

Corrid on the other hand will prevent it. The liquid in my opinion is not strong enough to get rid of the virus...In my experience. It is a great preventative and mix it according to the directions.

CORRID POWDER....ABOUT 50 PERCENT,,,,,This stuff will kill the virus if pups have it and owner cannot get Albon....It also mixes about 250 gallons of preventative if memory serves me right..
I have not raised any pups in a while but a gallon of the liquid use to be 50.00 years ago...And a pack of the powder was 6.00 and was much stronger and could be used to prevent virus in three litters of pups changing water and mixing fresh every day. I don't remember the dosage mix without looking at the directions on bag. Someone that has used it lately will jump in on oral dosage to kill virus.

I hope I have kind of answered your question.

    Re: Corrid

Thanks Gary, I have 3 dogs bred and just want to be prepared.

    Re: Corrid

You just start keeping in their water from about 5 to 11 weeks and you won,t have any worries.

    Re: Corrid

I'm keeping sul-met in the water buckets now for the dogs I have bred and the one nursing!

    Corrid

I have Corrid 9.6% oral liquid and just wondering what dosage other people use? I hear it works better than Albon for treatment and to prevent codsidiosis

    Re: Corrid

I use 15cc of the liquid per 5 gallons of water. I typically start the brood on it just as Mr. Godwin stated And continue with it in the brood AND pups water at a minimum of 21 days after weening
Take my word for it CORRID is worth it's weight in gold.

    Good luck
