I gave two hounds 2 cc's of LA200 for kennel cough about 2 weeks ago. I gave it under the skin at the belly, they both have knots about the size of a tennis ball and hard as a rock at the site I injectied them. Hope it will dissolve in time.
Wayne...don't "inject" it, give orally. 3cc's orally, for 5 days will eliminate kennel cough. And if they are coughing a lot, get Robitussin "DM" cough syrup. Give 1/2 teaspoon, & it will help reduce cough until it is gone.
I use the words "dog-medicine" as a reminder to get DM cough syrup!
Jonathan....give hound "cephalexin" for 3-5 days. If you don't have it, go to a pet store & look for a fish product...think it's called "fish zole" (spelling), but it is the same as cephalexin. If that's not it, ask the folks that work there, they can get you the correct product. Should see a marked improvement in 2-3 days.
