I have a six month old pup. She has had a small hard lump on the back of her lower jaw since i got her at 3 months old. Ive watched it close over the last months and it never got bigger or smaller always stayed the same. She never showed any problems and if you preassed on it it didnt bother her. I feed one afternoon and every thing was normal the next day her bottom jaw was the size of a softball. She is drolling a little with slite bloody fluid in it. Her left bottom gums are dark red and purple looking. I give her peniceline for three days with no results. Finally i took her to the vet and he said hed never seen anything like it. He said large lumps at the throt area can be from heartworms but this is diffrent its on the jaw. He sent me home with antiinflametores and antibiotis. My research has found that there is something called sylive gland infections the pics of dogs look kind of the same please help and what should i do
