Is there a difference between the Admire and Admire Pro??

I never had to deal with fleas..but I saw some on the dogs today....

I need to know where to get Admire if I can. I know I can get the bayer advanced complete insect and spray the pens..but I was going to get the Talstar if I could find it to spray the pens.

Also....can you put the bayer on the dogs if I cant find some Admire. I have read something about 6 cc of it...but I want to make sure I get the right stuff.

Im in Suffolk if anyone knows where I can get some admire...I guess I need it pretty quick before it gets out of control.

I believe you can order Admire from Wally Johnson or from Allens.

You can use the Bayer Complete INSECT on the hounds, and 6 cc's down the back, on the skin.

As for spraying....the Talstar is the best thing I've used. Mix 1 cc per gallon. If you spray your kennels...REMOVE the hounds first....spray it...let it dry.....then put hounds back in the kennel.
Wait 7 days (flea hatch cycle) and spray again. Your problem should be gone.

Talstar is also great for spraying lawns, etc for insects. I also used it to rid some oak trees of carpenter ants. Tree guy said mix it 1 1/2 oz per gallon....spray around base of the tree and up as high as you can reach.

Admire was the old white, Admire Pro replaced it and it a blue/turquiose color, sorry about the spelling on the T word haha, but anyway if you cant find any I have and sell it, shoot me a call or text 804-586-0345....

Have any of you used the insecticide labeled Taurus for flea and tick control. A neighbor hunter is using it and seems to be satisfied with Taurus. Any advice or comments about it would be welcomed.

Taurus works good on ticks, but not so much on fleas. My buddies and l have used it off and on the past few years. We rotate it with admire every month or as needed but never mix the 2 or use them too close together

Can you put this directly on the dogs and if so, how much? I have 2 Jack Russels. One 20 lbs and 3 yrs old and the other 9 months old and 10 lbs. Also, can you dilute it with water and bath them. Then again, if so, mix ratio.
