Mr. King, in my opinion, it depends on what type of hunting you will be doing to determine the type gyp you are looking for....do you want an all out field trial dog? Or are you hunting on the outside? Fox and coyote only? You want a steady running, honest dog or are you after a dog that wants the front end? There are many routes to take. I myself prefer the honest kind that may not be as fast, but really know how to run the game...
