Re: Is Jesus your personal Saviour?

Fellas,
It's still hard to talk about and even type about without tears filling my eyes. My 19 year old son went to sleep on Dec. 9, 2011 and never woke up the next morning. He was pronounced dead on Dec. 10th at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City, NC. He was a Christian young man at heart even though he was not perfect. The Lord decided that it was time to bring him home. I don't know how I could have made it through this ordeal without Jesus in my life. I urge each of you to think about it for a minute. It don't matter what age you are, how good 'o shape you think you are in, how much money you got for the doctors or any of that...when it's your time you need to be ready. My Son was ready. He preached to the young people in EC and many have been saved as a result of his passing, he visited the elderly at the funeral homes and did so many things outside of my home to promote Jesus' name that I never knew he was doing at the time. He was doing what we all are supposed to be doing...preaching the gospel of the good news to every corner of the earth as directed by Jesus to his deciples the last time he saw them. I am proud of my Boy and I miss him dearly! Will you be ready when Jesus calls you? Rest in Peace James Blake Hewitt.
