Re: A Hit & Run

I know how you feel. I ran Hounds for 15 years never had one ran over, only lost two during the first 15 years both were stolen confirmed a few years later. I lost the first hound by getting run over 10 years ago. The only thing done was either the one that hit and killed him or another s***bag stole the tracking collar off him he was missing less than an hour before one of the hunters I was hunting with saw him stopped checked his name collar and called me. The hound was one of many that I can say was an awesome hound. Had everything anyone who runs b Hounds would love to have in a hound. He could do it all. He was by far more then above average and I have deer racks and trophies from inside outside where I cast he ran didn't matter where. Sorry about your loss.
