I dont know im not a scientist but those cattle tags are made for a thousand pound cow. A few field trialers from out west told me that the cattle tags were taking some of the endurance out of there hounds. They claimed that whatever is in in the cattle tags runs through the dogs blood stream and effects the oxygen flow into the blood therefore causing the dogs to not have enough stamina. I have cattle tags on my deer dogs and brood *****es. I spray the dogs im field trialing. Just my advice from myself to a friend. Good luck with those ticks kevin.
