The post about best three Hounds I see your point and agree with you. The purpose of 5 from my point was to cut down expense for the hunters by giving one hound entered for the pen cost which for a one day is typically 10$. With three Hounds could go 25 $per hound and if three cut it to 60$ plus 10$per pack of three.
One question for anyone, what do you consider a pack to be, 3, 4, 6 10? ??? Myself I consider a pack to be 4 hound 's and up, with 8 as a good to listen to symphony.
I'm looking for good responses for the possibility of having a hunt that has a high appeal for what the hunters want at a field trial. The speed and drive comes with an HGA hunt . The price of entry is a great concern because of the economy high entry fee keeps good hounds and competitive hunters, either judging or home.
I know money hunts are nice but they Are by far limited to some hunters. I don't think a money hunt can cater to all houndsman. I don't run them because of the cost and leaving equal Hounds at home. This is a hunt that every houndsman can be in and enjoy. These are Really good ideas come up with some more.
