Well another Southeastern annual field trial has come and gone. We had a total of 428 hounds entered! A big thank you goes out to all the hunters that came and supported the Southeastern! Another big thank you goes out to all the judges who worked extremely hard to get scores. The weather conditions made for a tough hunt and the judges are to be commended for all their hard work and having to deal with the weather. Their efforts are greatly appreciated! Clyde Sutton did a superior job serving as our Master of Hounds!
Thanks to Kelly Meadows for also doing a superior job judging the bench show along with his ringmaster Larry Tomlin. My highest regards go to the association's board of directors. Their help is second to none and that is one reason why the Southeastern has remained such a successful association! Thanks to all of them that helped in so many various ways! Thanks to Russell Farmer for once again out-doing himself cooking our delicious meal on Saturday night! Thanks to the Poole family for the use of their fine facility and to Nancy for keeping us all from going hungry!! Thanks to Andy for figuring the scores on the computer program!! Thanks to Mike Carr and Pride dog food for their generous donation of dog food and to Brian Bishop for his donation of Buddy Boy dog food. Thanks to Buddy Taylor, our President, for doing a fine job organizing the hunt and putting up with me!! LOL

Congratulations to East Coast Kennels for winning BIS and to TC Foster for winning BOS. Congratulations to Foreclosure Kennels for winning the derby and to Randy Hawkins for winning the all-age! Congratulations to all that placed!

It was so good to see everyone and I enjo*** the visits! I have a LOT of pictures that I took throughout the field trial and I will try to get them posted on FB within the next few days! Thank you again to everyone who parti****ted or helped!! The fellowship alone was worth the trip!! Take care everyone!!
