Heath Howell made a good point. BUT-I have always disagreed with showing scratched dogs. No different from showing a pure show dog that they wait at the end of the chute to catch him and say to a judge "scratch him" the next day. And yes, it has cost me a Dual (behind one running dog and three show dogs, we placed 5th). That's where it hurts. Seems like that was our only chance LOL, but it's something you never forget. It may be two different competitions, but they are tied closely together, so that's close enough for me to disagree. Good post :)
