The starting date for this program will be January 1, 2012. It will end on December 31, 2012.

1. HOUNDS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CHASE (Before Final Count).
2. Only field trials run during 2012 will be eligible.
3. Trial results must be sent to the Chase with hound's name and breeding within 90 days of the hunt.
4. Reports must be postmarked by February 1, 2013 to be included in the 2012 results.
5. Hunts must be advertised in the Chase to be eligible.

PUPPY TRIALS: Points will be computed with 100 points for 1st place, 90 points for 2nd, etc. with 10 points for 10th place.

1-DAY TRIALS: Points computed the same as the Puppy Hunts.

1). Only all age hounds will be eligible to count toward the Chase-Purina Test of the Best.

2). There must be a minimum of 30 entries.

3). Field trial racing jackets are permissable for use.

AWARDS

The award ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Chase Stockholder's Meeting in April in Lexington, Ky.

Awards will be as follows;

1-day: $2000.00-$1000.00 from the Chase and $1000.00 from Purina.

Puppy hunts will be the same.

Prize breakdown will be as follows;

1st place $1000.00; 12 bags of Purina feed and 1 free full page ad in the Chase.

2nd place $600.00; 6 bags of Purina feed and 1/2 page ad in the Chase.

3rd place $400.00; 4 bags of Purina feed and 1/2 page ad in the Chase.

This will be the same for puppy hunts as well as 1-days.

Special Bonus. If the winners are ACTIVE Purina Pro Club Members, an additional $500.00 will be awarded to 1st., 300.00 for 2nd., and 100.00 for 3rd. place.

Susan Alewine will be tracking the points for both the puppy and 1-day programs. The Chase will publish standings in the June and September issues.
